What makes children tick? What factors matter most in shaping a baby or toddler's personality and behaviour? How do children develop socially and emotionally? Among other things, you'll learn how children build relationships with others, how they acquire behaviour and how they develop moral judgment. You'll also study the importance of play, the development of language and the biological basis of aggression. Topics Covered The Child Psychology Diploma is divided into two modules and will gradually introduce you to the different aspects of the subject.  Career Progression Gaining the EDI Level 3 Diploma in Child Psychology will provide a real boost to your job prospects, enhancing your CV and helping you get noticed by potential employers.

With the Diploma in Child Psychology you may be able to apply for jobs as a Nursery Assistant, earning a potential salary of around £12,000* per annum (*Source: www.payscale.com, May 2011).
